Sudoku Shogun
Privacy statement
In short: Sudoku Shogun has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app does not send your game data anywhere. What you do in the game is stored only in your own browser, on your own device.
What the app stores on your device
- Puzzles in progress (digits, notes and time) for Sudoku, Expand, Samusamu and the daily puzzles, including the archive.
- Statistics: solved puzzles, times, the techniques that were needed, and your rank.
- Settings, such as language, appearance and the timer.
- A copy of the app's own files, so it also works offline.
This uses your browser's local storage and cache. It stays on this device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
What leaves your device, only when you choose
- Share result: a short text with the date, level and your time goes to the app or clipboard you pick. It does not contain the solution.
- Save backup: creates a file with all the data above on your device. You decide what happens to that file.
- Restore backup: reads a file you pick and replaces the progress in this browser.
Hosting
The website is delivered by a hosting provider. Like every web server, it receives technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the requested file, because that is needed to deliver the page. We have not added analytics or tracking. The app itself sets no cookies and loads nothing from other websites.
Deleting your data
Clear this website's data in your browser settings, or remove the app from your device. We do not have your game data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Save a backup first if you want to keep your progress.
Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this statement and the date at the top.
Privacyverklaring
Kort gezegd: Sudoku Shogun heeft geen accounts, geen advertenties, geen analytics en geen tracking. De app stuurt je spelgegevens nergens heen. Wat je in het spel doet, staat alleen in je eigen browser, op je eigen apparaat.
Wat de app op je apparaat bewaart
- Lopende puzzels (cijfers, notities en tijd) voor Sudoku, Uitbreidbaar, Samusamu en de dagpuzzels, inclusief het archief.
- Statistieken: opgeloste puzzels, tijden, de technieken die nodig waren, en je rang.
- Instellingen, zoals taal, weergave en de timer.
- Een kopie van de bestanden van de app zelf, zodat hij ook offline werkt.
Daarvoor gebruikt de app de lokale opslag en de cache van je browser. Dit blijft op dit apparaat en gaat niet naar ons of naar iemand anders.
Wat je apparaat verlaat, alleen als jij dat kiest
- Resultaat delen: een korte tekst met de datum, het niveau en je tijd gaat naar de app of het klembord dat jij kiest. De oplossing staat er niet in.
- Back-up opslaan: maakt een bestand met alle gegevens hierboven op je apparaat. Jij bepaalt wat er met dat bestand gebeurt.
- Back-up terugzetten: leest een bestand dat jij kiest en vervangt de voortgang in deze browser.
Hosting
De website wordt geleverd door een hostingpartij. Zoals elke webserver ontvangt die technische gegevens zoals je IP-adres, je browsertype en het opgevraagde bestand, omdat dat nodig is om de pagina te leveren. Wij hebben geen analytics of tracking toegevoegd. De app zelf plaatst geen cookies en laadt niets van andere websites.
Je gegevens verwijderen
Wis de gegevens van deze website in de instellingen van je browser, of verwijder de app van je apparaat. Wij hebben je spelgegevens niet, dus bij ons valt niets te verwijderen. Maak eerst een back-up als je je voortgang wilt houden.
Kinderen
De app verzamelt van niemand persoonsgegevens, ook niet van kinderen.
Wijzigingen
Gaat de app anders met gegevens om, dan passen we deze verklaring en de datum bovenaan aan.
